REGISTRATION STEPS FOR THE COLORADO MOUNTAIN COACHING RETREAT
FIRST STEPS:
First, you will have a complimentary virtual consultation via Zoom with Kim Harmon, Life Coach and Retreat Leader, to determine if this private coaching retreat is a good fit for you. You can choose to enroll in either a 3-day retreat (12 hours of coaching) or a 4-day retreat (16 hours of coaching). Each day, there will be 4 hours of coaching with 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon or evening.
Depending on the weather, your preferences, and other factors, coaching sessions may be conducted off-premises at locations like Garden of the Gods or by the waterfall at the top of the mountain in the foothills of Pikes Peak.
Each coaching retreat is unique because Kim tailors the coaching retreat to best suit your needs to ensure your time is productive, enjoyable, and provides you long-lasting, positive results.
You will discuss retreat arrival dates with Kim to determine which dates work for both parties. You can drive to Colorado Springs or fly in to either Colorado Springs Airport (which is ideal) or Denver International Airport located 1.5 hours away (depending on traffic and weather.)

DISCLAIMERS:
Kim is a professionally ICF trained Life Coach, but NOT a counselor, therapist, or psychologist.
It is Kim's right to refuse any individual or couple for any reason she deems they are not suited for this coaching retreat. Reasons may include but are not limited to: mental illness, drug or alcohol abuse or addictions, physical, sexual, emotional, or mental abuse, or criminal background.
This is for her protection and yours to ensure she is not put in an unsafe situation in her own home or unable to help you due to previous traumas, abuse, or addictions.
You will be required to fill out a questionnaire prior to registration, provide copies of a valid driver's license and conduct a Zoom introduction call with Kim to determine the suitability of the coaching retreat for you and/or your partner. If it is determined you are a fit for the retreat and once a deposit is made, a criminal background check will be run on all attendees. NO EXCEPTIONS. Ultimately, it will be up to Kim's discretion based upon the findings of the background check if you can attend the retreat. Should something come up in the background check that is of concern, your deposit will be returned to you in full.
The Colorado Mountain Coaching Retreat is also Kim's private home. It is a 100% smoke-free, drug-free, violence-free, safe environment. Weapons of ANY kind are strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to firearms, knives, tasers, mace or any type of weapon. Violation of any rules or unruly, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior of any kind, will result in the IMMEDIATE removal from the premises and no refund of monies paid.
Be aware, the weather in Colorado is unpredictable and changes quickly, sometimes making it unsafe to travel. Make your travel plans accordingly. Please be sure to make reservations with companies that allow for modifications in the event bad weather prohibits you from being able to travel here safely. Only in circumstances where the airport has cancelled flights or roads are closed will warrant rescheduling your retreat.
With that said, Kim cannot control the weather once you have arrived at the retreat. Poor weather or any environmental issue like smoke from wildfires after your arrival will not constitute a reason for a full or partial refund or rescheduling because of the inability to take advantage of some outdoor amenities.
The Colorado Mountain Coaching Retreat is somewhat remote. Although the retreat is only 20 minutes to downtown Colorado Springs, it is not an easy 20 minutes. The road to the house can be scary to some because there are many hairpin turns/switchbacks, sometimes no guardrails and partly not paved. It is best to have a vehicle that is all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive in the event there is snow or poor weather to drive on dirt roads.
Additionally, the house sits at 7300 feet elevation and every entry to the house has stairs. Therefore, unfortunately, the house is not wheelchair accessible. If you suffer from asthma or other any other health conditions that might be affected by the high altitude, do not like heights, need wheelchair access, or anything else that may concern you about the location, please consider this before requesting to book The Colorado Mountain Coaching Retreat.
The main goal of this coaching retreat is to offer a safe, enjoyable, immersive coaching experience and take advantage of the surroundings when possible.
